Jumping on with the small influx of slowatus/hiatus posts ♥ I will be scarce/very slow with tags through the rest of this week, then from Sunday I will be entirely absent because I shall be attending band camp for a few days, and then it will be CONSTANT REHEARSALS until the weekend when the matinee performance is over.

Pretty much, expect less of me for the next two weeks (ish), and I will miss you all very much ♥

So...I guess I don't have to worry about my room mate having a crush on me.  Seems I'm bad luck for people room mates.

Oh well, should make things easier even though we all know life isn't simple, right?

[The video feed goes live overlooking a wrecked concrete platform in a vast shaft that stretches into the distance in both directions. Togusa, playing a flashlight over the floor, and a woman in a dress emerge from a doorway.

They investigate, finding a path deeper into the complex, and emerge into another echoing room, this one marked with radiation trefoils, above an enormous pool of water. The more technologically-inclined will recognize the cooling tank for a nuclear reactor. Togusa seems to realize what he's seeing, and checks a radiation meter on his wrist.

It's hot in there.

Togusa starts to leave, urging the woman to follow, when across the room on another catwalk, two suits of four-armed power armor appear.]

Arm suits!

[Togusa says, alarmed. He grabs the woman's arm and starts running, dragging her along behind him, as the armored suits easily make the 50-foot jump from catwalk to catwalk in pursuit. ( oh noes! )

OOC: It's now Episode 06 of 2nd Gig for the Ghost in the Shell cast! All of Togusa's replies will be dated hours later, when he's on the train back to Fukuoka.

I am handwaving the cinematic perspective as the community's fault. >_>

Sooooooooooooo, Adachi, Birkin and Stein people have been discussing going to visit Naoto in his dungeon before he gets rescued, and the RL has already been set up. But we've been discussing the ramifications of this, and we wanted to discuss this with the Persona people before we move too far with this.

You see, we've been discussing the possibility of Stein and Birkin confronting their shadows while in the TV world.

The thing is, as far as we can see, if this happened it would have a couple of possible ramifications, in no particular order:
1. They'd show up on the midnight channel
2. They might get their own dungeon(s) and have to be rescued?
3. THEY WOULD GET PERSONAS

The last one is sortof a biggie, and the reason why I'm throwing this out to the community before we go forward with this. I think we'll need to ask moderator permission as well.

We think it'd be pretty epic, but we don't want to mess up anyone else's plans. I also think it would be believable if their personas were temporary, maybe only lasted for a while, because they're not from that world. But permanent personas would be fun, too, if people were open to that.

Anyway, thoughts? Is it Epic/Fail/GTFO Cnd

Tyki had managed to at least unbutton and open Cross' outfit, when he answered the door at Hakuba's arrival. The black coat was opened, as was the white shirt underneath, showing off the scars on his chest.

He beamed at the sight of the blond boy and reached for him, dragging him into a hug.

"Good to see you, Saguru," he purred. "I just started the cappuccino machine. Want one?"

((Oops, I forgot this was back on Saturday))

Okay, so I vanished for a freaking long time (and hopefully not so long that I vanished completely) and I know I should have done this ages ago, but I'm finally cheerful enough to try the game roleplaying again on top of my SWS exploits.

Only one problem, I can't handle three characters right now, so I'm going to have to drop Bela. She's got a decent group of friends off this community, and if you want to you can still follow her through SWS and stuff. Without a game a lot of her posts are open so you can feel free to pop in and say hi if you like.

Kanda's iffy. I'll give him till the AC to see if I get his voice back and stronger. Without continuous DGM updates I've kinda lost him. Though I should prolly reread and watch it some to see if that helps.

Heiji is staying. For sure. No way I'm going anywhere with him. I'll have to rework his icons though, cause the ones LJ left me with are not roleplay acceptable for the most part. XD So, anyone wanna help think up an excuse as for why he hasn't been around? :3


I also haven't forgotten the pictures I owe people! My creativity died on me with everything else, but now I think I'll be able to get my ass in gear and finish those for you two. It may be NaNo month but I have a LOT of free time. >.< So what better way to use it? <3

[The video opens up on Naoto's surveillance control room/playroom once more, but with a significant change... The room is in a complete and total disarray. Toys lay strewn and scattered every which way, many of them broken. A nearby monitor is smashed, sparks fizzling through the broken screen. One of the fluorescent lights above flickers spasmodically. A small diorama of a metropolitan city lies in ruins with both the model robot and alien monster lying in pieces...]

[Naoto can be heard screaming in a high-pitched, earsplitting wail that only small children throwing a tantrum are capable of producing. The camera focuses on him as he kicks apart a carefully constructed fort built entirely of dice.]

I hate you! I hate all of you! [He glares at the camera, pointing an accusing finger, which is covered by his long sleeve.] How dare you destroy Dominating Machine? He was my most favorite toy, and you broke him into itty bitty pieces! I'll never forgive you bastards!

[Suddenly, a model robot is thrown into the camera. The image flickers for a bit.]

How many times do I have to tell you? Go away! I don't want you here! I don't need you to rescue me! I'm doing just fine!

[Suddenly, Naoto starts bawling.] Just leave me alone already...

I know you're asking yourselves this: why are we so blessed to have Sue Sylvester back, I mean, we're nothing more than the fungus growing on the buck of a harddrive fan. I'll give you this answer in the form of a court order: I ran over a small pigme (read: due to the nature of my court case, I am to refer to him as a "freshman student") with my golf cart and I am forced to perform community service and I'm a big proponent of the status quo, so no homeless people are being graced by my presence.

So, instead, as a doctor, with my PhD, I've decided that I will allocate some time before the vodka, red bull and protein smoothie kicks in to answer any questions or provide counseling for some of you and perhaps make you a member of a real society.

Glee club members do not apply seeing as they are members of Glee and will never surmount to anything.

[Another canon move. Main action starts at 4 minutes, although before that has a lot of bonus info. Like the fact that he's half demon. And his name. And that his brother's a douchebag.

Anyway, assume that responses come a few days later, since his friends insist that he needs to recover.]

[The video opens onto a familiar scene: dimly lit room, harsh florescent lighting, greenish haze... Except this time, the room is most definitely a study of some sort. Or a morgue. Again, its purpose is a bit confused. Bookshelves crammed to bursting. Jars of various organs and body parts are situated along various wire shelves. A stainless steel table serves as a desk... which is lined with various power tools and surgical instruments which gleam in the light. Seated at this makeshift desk is Naoto once again, but there is something decidedly different about his demeanor. His yellow eyes stare into the camera with the same coldness and precision as a scientist about to pin a helpless butterfly to a piece of cork board.]

Good evening, my delightful little ducklings. [His voice is pitched deeper than usual. There is a hint of callous amusement.] Forgive my earlier introduction. I had hoped that the insufferable brat which shares my body would find some quiet activity with which to occupy himself, but I suppose I should have known better... after all, we do share the same brain! [a low chuckle]

Allow me to re-introduce myself. I am Naoto Shirogane, but you may address me as Dr. Shirogane, or simply Doctor, if you prefer. My specialty lies in surgery: bodily augmentation and brain surgery, to be precise, but I also dabble a bit in psychology as well.

As far as I can tell, you all seem to be suffering quite a bit these days. Keeping all the dark, squirming thoughts locked up tight in your skulls is certainly difficult... not to mention unhealthy. You never know when they will all just... [grins cunningly] ...break free one day.

[Naoto plants his elbows on the table and leans onto his folded hands]

So! Allow me to offer my services to you all! Whisper into my ear your deepest, darkest secrets. Unburden your mind's woes and sorrows unto me. I promise not to tell a soul. After all, patient confidentiality. Trust me. I'm a doctor.

[After that, Naoto begins to laugh, softly at first, but it grows in crescendo. He throws back his head and lets loose with that patented, mad scientist laughter. Then the feed cuts out.]
